Maurice "Moe" Ager

Maurice, "Moe" Ager is a 26-year-old music producer and professional basketball player. Athletically, Ager spent the previous three years in the NBA, playing with the Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets and most recently for the Orlando Magic's summer league team. The Detroit native and current NBA D-League shooting guard's love for music production spawned while attending Michigan State University, where he led the Spartans to the 2005 Final Four and led the Big Ten Conference in scoring as a senior. Ager, who created his first track at age 18 (in an on-campus computer lab with a trial-version of Fruity Loops) and has made hundreds since, would spend his down time fabricating beats for various artists ranging from Detroit rappers to national hip-hop artists.

Ager resides in Dallas, Texas during the offseason, where his grueling basketball workouts are only matched in intensity by the intimate passion he dedicates to his musical craft. His suburban home features a provisional studio highlighted by the Timbaland Special Edition MiKo Keyboard as well as an arsenal of musical weaponry. Ager, who once played for an NBA team partially owned by rap mogul Jay-Z (New Jersey Nets), cites Dr. Dre and Eminem as his top musical influences, an evident musical motif when listening to his beats.
