Greg's anthem, "I Told the Storm" from his album "Conversations" was nominated for Contemporary Song of the Year. Greg was also nominated for two Dove Awards in the categories of Contemporary Song of the Year "I Told the Storm", and Contemporary Album of the Year "Conversations". He was also nominated for a Stellar Award in the category of Best Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year. In addition, Greg was awarded The James Cleveland Gospel Excellence Award for Group of the year in 2000. With the incredible success of the album "Conversations," he has traveled the globe intensively, from Alaska to the West Indies and from Canada to Egypt.
In addition, Greg's mega-hit "I Told the Storm," has been in heavy rotation at the radio stations across the country for over 56 months and is currently still in the Top 5 at most national radio and satellite TV networks. The single remains in the top ten of nearly every gospel play list in the country. "I Told the Storm" is the first song in gospel history to hold a position in the Top 10 most requested songs for over 36 months and remains as the most downloaded song in gospel music history.
