Hollywood FLOSS
"The all-in-one solution ... look no further."
- Hollywood FLOSS
Hollywood FLOSS (Flawless Lawless Opposing Stagnant Situations) started his music career during his junior year in high school in 2000. A long time fan of rap, he decided to pick up the microphone and never looked back. He began recording mix tapes for family and neighborhood fans, gaining notoriety from a local producer by the name of 2Tone. 2Tone, then CEO of the Texas Ballers, took young Hollywood FLOSS under his wing. Floss appeared on 2Tone’s first CD "Family Ties" under Unified Records released in 2001 which received mediocre reviews. The album did little to boost the career of Floss, but it helped him understand the music game and motivated him to keep pursuing his music goals.
Next up was another album under the Unified Records imprint, but things went sour and he was forced to move on to other opportunities. Fed up with the music he stepped down from the microphone and finished up his college education at the University of Houston. By fate, 2005 fellow friend and rap member KIDD, asked him to appear on the annual Birthday Bash mix tape album. Even though it had been three years since recording, he realized the gift was still in him and recorded three songs in two days.
Since 2005, Floss has continued to do countless promotional shows and mix tapes and will release his debut solo album "Three Trick Pony" in the spring of 2008 under Kwiet Riot Music Group imprint. Additionally, Floss will drop two group albums with the newly formed World Wide WEB (former members of the Texas Ballers).
Floss has taken up piano lessons, and studied hip-hop and R&B production. He owns his own recording studio where his favorite instrument of choice is his Open Labs MiKo. His goals are to pave a musical path for underprivileged musicians who do not have the ability or monetary means to record their music. His favorite motto is: "Build the foundation and the rest will follow."
