Bishop Jason Martin
Jason M. Martin is presiding bishop and founder of Jesus Is Lord Life Tabernacle, a multi cultural non denominational church in rural Marysville, Washington. A loving husband and father of 7 children, Bishop Martin was called to ministry in 1991 and served in Washington State as an evangelist. In 1994 he became the associate pastor and worship leader of Victory Four Square Church in Marysville Washington. An anointed psalmist and recording artist be was favored to open in concert for major recording groups Israel Houghton, Billy and Sarah Gaines, Raze, and Michelle Tumes before starting Jesus Is Lord Life Tabernacle in August of 1998.
In the years following the church grew tremendously and God used Bishop Martin to unify the community after a cross was burned on the front lawn of his home in 2004. He chose to publicly forgive the offenders while taking a stand against racism in a predominantly white community. Because of the incredible integrity shown by Bishop he received honors from both the governor and senator for the State of Washington and the Brotherhood Days award from three surrounding cities. After witnessing the character exhibited by Bishop Martin following the nation wide incident, he was approached by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and attended and graduated from Washington states first FBI Citizens Academy.
Bishop Martin was appointed the Washington State Director for Christians United for Israel under Pastor John Hagee. He hosted and lead praise and worship for "A Night to Honor Israel" at the Everett Events Center where over 800 people were in attendance. Since that time he has made numerous television appearances on Promiseland Television, hosted Trinity Broadcast Networks "Praise the Lord", and can be viewed locally on Jesus Is Lord Television every Monday. Bishop Martin's third music CD "In Your Hands" can be heard nationwide on various Christian Radio Stations and is available in stores and over the internet through i tunes, cd baby, and vcast. In 2009, Bishop Martin launched his second church Abundant Faith International Christian Center.

1.) How did you first hear about Open Labs?
I saw it on the internet.
2.) What Production Station do you have?
I currently have a Neko LX5 and MiKo LXD.
3.) How has the gear changed your method of work?
I am able to produce my music so much faster having everything in one box.
4.) What is your production station's primary function, live or studio?
I use both in studio and live.
5.) What is your favorite software on the board?
I love Ableton suite 8 it works great Omnisphere and trillian, lounge lizard and Komplete 5 are all awesome and my favorites.
6.) How do you use it?
To create patterns in Ableton for our worship services.
7.) Which kind of equipment have you owned in the past and how do they compare to your Open Labs equipment?
You name it I've had it. Motif, Fantom, Triton, Mpc, Nord and may more they simply cannot touch the openlabs products Neko and Miko are cutting edge if your serious about music this is what you've been looking for.
8.) Has the gear changed the way you write songs?
Yes I am so inspired to write the sound in this thing makes me want to write more beautiful worship songs.
9.) How different is the composition process compared to the standard computer or laptop system?
No comparison because this is made for music laptops are not.
10.) Do you think the quality of your production now would be possible with another keyboard?
No I do not believe so with those other boards I was limited to sound and with this every time I load a new vst I have a new keyboard.
11.) Have you had any experience with our Tech Support and how does it rate with you?
Easy tech support is Top of the line!!
12.) What is next for you and your Production Station?
I presently working on my fourth album and I also plan to purchase a XXL.
