Hello from Los Angeles!!! I'm Nick
O'Toole. Some of you have seen me in
the Open Labs videos online. I just finished building out the new Open
Labs LA Showroom and we had an amazing party to kick it off. We are
OFFICIALLY OPEN. We have everything set up and ready to showcase. So,
if you are interested in purchasing our products then come on by and
spend some time educating yourself on how AMAZING and versatile these
products are.
The showroom hours are Tues thru Sat 10am-6pm however other arrangements may be made in special circumstances.
Here is a quick rundown of what you can expect to see here
when you arrive. We have one showroom with a DBeat that you can walk up
to and rapidly become an expert on. We also have a MiKo LXD and a NeKo
LX5. Each of these 3 units are their own discreet Kiosks. If you are a
live touring musician or just looking to purchase a studio or portable
studio system then you will be able decide for yourself which machine is
for you.
We also have the studio demo room featuring a Neko XXL running Pro ToolsTM LE 8 with the Complete Production Toolkit (003 rack), Steinberg Cubase 5, Nuendo 4, Sequel 2 connected to the Steinberg MR816 audio
interface and the Yamaha Motif XS Rack connected via mLAN. We are also running Reaper with the built in Delta 1010LT custom interface with our own phantom power added to the Mic Pre's and Ableton Live.
For software add-ons we have added Spectrasonics OMNISPHERE, TRILOGY and STYLUS RMX, NI Komplete 6, SYMPHOBIA by PROJECT SAM and MANY MANY other 3rd party applications. It is very important to us that our customers know that they are giving up NOTHING by using our product. You are free to install ALL of your favorite software platforms and plugins. ALL IN 5.1 Surround on an amazing PMC speaker system. All systems in the studio showroom are running in 5.1 surround through the Dangerous Audio ST/RT Monitoring system for superior monitoring quality and flexibility with professional acoustic wall treatments, speaker stabilizer recoils by PrimacousticTM for studio quality diffusion and audio response.
