Sinista On Da Traxxx
"No Struggle No Progress" are more than four words permanently inked on the skin of veteran producer, Sinista On Da Traxxx. It's his motto from growing up in the Florida projects. In New Orleans, Sinista exceeded the expectations of a ninth ward kid and acted as a beat machine for New Orleans legends like UNLV and Bun B. It's hard to say your not a fan of his music if you are familiar with Master P, Lil Flip, Baby Boy, Ms Tee, Lil Wayne, and Squad Up.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Sinista was faced with yet another obstacle ... survival. Leaving his home with no more than a weeks worth of clothing and an MPC 4000, Sinista had to start over; no struggle no progress.
And Sinista did progress, constructing 10 tracks for multi platinum artist, Juvenile. Critics say it was Juvenile's best album since the classic “400 Degreez,” and you can blame Sinista On Da Traxx for its success. He also worked with Partners 'n Crime on their latest release, “Club Bangaz” under Rap-A-Lot Records. Sinista has not only paid his dues, but is still relevant from Skip and Wacko to the Hustle and Flow soundtrack. He's responsible for the sales of over 2 million records and counting, as well as the hundreds of independent albums and mixed tapes that are still in circulation online and in clubs.
Sinista has been the beat doctor with every instrument necessary to make a hit. His production style is often copied, but seldom matched with the Sin'-track tag engraved on every timeless hit.
