Slapboyz
Gabe Schillinger and Phil Cox have been blowing up on the Bay Area music scene as the producer team “The Slapboyz” since they first started working together on music production in January 2006. Making hits for local legends such as Messy Marv, Mistah Fab, Yukmouth, Keak Da Sneak, Kafani and many more artists. They earned themselves a reputation as one of the hot young talents in the region.

After studying music at UC San Diego, Gabe started to work under the guidance of 3-time Grammy winner and multi-platinum producer Narada Michael Walden at Tarpan studios, where they continuously developed their phenomenal talent and grew as music minds.
Spending most of their time in the studio, they have become accomplished engineers and have valuable experience working with artists. Their production style is reminiscent of their influences; Cool and Dre, Jazze Pha, The Runners, and Polow Da Don. True artists, they know that a hit all starts with them and they take it there without relying heavily on samples. The Slapboyz are poised to make huge strides this year, and their talent has been quickly recognized across California, as must have material for any serious artists’ project.
